Organization Information
Christian World Adoption is a one of the largest non-profit international adoption agencies in the U.S. Since 1991 CWA has placed thousands of children into loving families throughout the United States and abroad. CWA believes He directs this agency and that He is responsible for success. CWA is here to help you and the children. Throughout the adoption process, CWA maintains the highest professional standards while providing the highest level of support to clients.
To meet the needs of CWA clients and the needs of the children, CWA works closely with orphanages, foster homes, government officials, private lawyers and facilitators in eight countries. CWA works diligently to connect the children with loving families in the U.S and abroad. CWA is a Christian adoption agency, however, CWA accepts couples or individuals, regardless of religion, as long as they can provide a lifetime of care and a loving home for a child.
Christian World Adoption is committed to ethical practices in international adoption, protecting the rights of the birth parents, the adoptive parents, and especially the children. CWA is members of the Joint Council for International Children’s Services, the oldest and largest association of international adoption professionals. CWA Executive Director, Tomilee Harding, served as President of JCICS from 1999-2000.
In December 1997, CWA became one of the first international adoption agencies accredited by the Council On Accreditation. This accreditation attests that CWA operates at the highest level of effective and ethical service.
Each year CWA help bring over 200 orphan children to new homes in the United States. Yet there are so many more children who need help. CWA is committed to supporting the health and welfare of God’s children throughout the world. Prior to 1996 these efforts were carried out directly by CWA. These missions have now been consolidated under our sister organization, the Christian World Foundation. The Foundation can leverage off the resources of CWA, while arranging larger humanitarian relief programs through personal and corporate donations, foundations and government grants
